Introducing filmprojection21’s 16mm test film

A unique 16mm test film has been produced under the banner of filmprojection21 by L’Abominable with the dedicated tools that were deposited with them by the French Commission Supérieure Technique de l’Image et du Son, who was in charge of producing such films in the past.

This film allows you to thoroughly check the 16mm image that you are showing : framing, sharpness, geometric distorsion.

The film is sold both in France by L’Abominable and in the USA by Chicago Film Society, by 10 feet = 3 meter lengths, allowing you to have several loops.

A second film designed to check optical sound reading is under preparation, and other items from filmprojection21 designed to help projectionists and filmmakers circulating prints are currently being thought of.

Price is 30€ or $33 for 3 meter/10ft plus packing & shipping costs.
